The time has finally arrived. We can officially announce the winner of our Hear for the Holidays giveaway.
After reading through all of the heartfelt nominations, we were truly touched by all of your stories and kind words.
The past couple of years have been particularly difficult for Alaska, and we are so grateful to be able to give back to the community.
Hearing is vital to everyday communication and we think everyone deserves a chance to hear the life they love.
With that said, we’d like to say thank you to everyone who took part – each nomination was incredibly special.
So, without further ado, the winner of our Hear for the Holidays 2021 giveaway is…Susan!
Our Winner, Susan:
For many years, Susan was the caregiver to her husband until, sadly, he recently lost his battle with cancer and passed away.
After spending many years prioritizing her husband’s health, her health was pushed to the side and, most notably, her hearing.
Her daughter was the one who nominated Susan, as she wanted to gift her with something special in time for the holidays.
When Susan was announced as the winner, she had no idea that her name had been put forward and was overwhelmed at the opportunity.
Finally, she could put herself first and begin to rebuild her life after all those years.
Witnessing Susan’s face when she was announced as the winner was just another reason why we love what we do.
Each day, I count myself lucky to be able to experience moments like these.
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Susan!
