Dr. Sage Clemons

Dr. Sage Clemons is an audiologist who completed her residency at Alaska Hearing and Tinnitus Center and returned after earning her Doctor of Audiology degree from The Ohio State University in May 2026.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Sage developed a passion for audiology through personal experience - watching her father navigate hearing loss and its impact on communication inspired her to help others facing similar challenges. Her mother, an early childhood educator, sparked Sage’s interest in working with children, which continues to shape her patient-centered approach.

During her training, Sage gained experience serving a wide range of populations, including pediatric patients, individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, and patients with tinnitus. As a LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities) trainee, she developed interdisciplinary skills to better support patients and families. She also worked closely with leading tinnitus providers across the United States, strengthening her expertise in this specialized area of care. Sage especially enjoys helping a diverse range of patients and tailoring care to meet each individual’s unique needs.

Outside the clinic, Sage enjoys staying active and creative. She takes full advantage of Alaska’s outdoor opportunities through hiking, biking, running, skiing, and kayaking. She also enjoys cooking, pottery, and painting as creative outlets. Sage is driven by curiosity and a desire to continually learn from new experiences, people, and places.

While Sage is still exploring where she may eventually settle long term, she is excited to serve the community and provide compassionate, high-quality care at Alaska Hearing and Tinnitus Center through at least August 2026.
