Sage Clemons
Audiology Resident
Sage grew up in Columbus, OH, and is a graduate of Columbus School for Girls. Following graduation, she attended Butler University, where she earned her bachelor of arts degree in communication sciences and disorders and in Spanish. She is currently attending Ohio State University for grad school. Additionally, Sage is a LEND fellow graduate (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities).
Sage’s dad has a hearing loss and struggles with communication. Witnessing his struggles, Sage decided to enter the world of hearing care, as she wanted to help people with similar challenges.
At Alaska Hearing and Tinnitus Center, Sage’s responsibilities include performing adult and pediatric diagnostics, fitting adult and pediatric hearing aids and providing follow-up care, and doing tinnitus assessments and rehabilitation. While Sage enjoys the variety of her role, she especially loves learning from her patients every day.
Outside of the office, Sage keeps busy by hiking, camping, cooking, and volunteering to support people with developmental disabilities.

If you could have dinner with one person, who would you choose? Probably my great-great-grandmother to gain perspective on the history and experiences of women who came before me!

What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is mac and cheese.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I would happily go anywhere with the opportunity.
